About Us

Who We Are

Wakefield Fire Rescue operates as a combination fire department and staffs career Firefighter / Advanced-EMTs who provide full-time Fire and EMS coverage 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our response district consists of the Villages of Wakefield which includes Sanbornville, Union, East Wakefield and also to the Town of Brookfield, NH. Wakefield is a proud member of the Ossipee Valley Mutual Aid Association.

2023 Total: 207


10 years ago in 2012, Wakefield was running just over 900 calls for service. 2022 is the highest recorded year to date, we're excited to continue to serve the growing Wakefield community for 2023 and answer every single call that we can.
